Mike... Well theres not much to say about the boy who mysteriously showed up as Kelly's cousin. The one no-one knew about until about a week ago.
His shaky past still in his lap but his face changed now he'd met Rayne.. Maybe it was his sorrow for her or maybe more.
Mike Sat upon the horse that already was annoyed with him pulling the reins so tighter than a 3year old child. Waiting for Rayne, he checked his new watch and then checked around glad no one was in sight he kicked the horse into a walk.. At least a little practice cant hurt.
He wore his baggy jeans, a black baggy shirt and his usual scruffy 'I just got out of bed' look.
That was him, he wouldn't be the one in a suit this was his work clothes where he made his millions.
The mare sprung foward, almost throwing Mike as she bounded into a galloped and leaped over a jump.. Mike suprizingly stayed in the saddle. Smiling to himself he pushed her over another one. This time the mare stopped before it and Mike was thrown over her head landing on the jump breaking it.
Mike tried to fix the jump in the end he just threw the peices against each other and stared at the horse "Now.. I dont give a fuck about that but behave when Rayne comes or" he looked around as something to use as a threat. Nothing.. He turned back to the horse who was eating a bit of hay left on the ground from morning feeds
Maybe horses where the one thing Mike could turn to bury his secrets in. Cars didn't listen, nor did his friends --well he'd never tried and never would there a bunch of jerks. Laughing about serious shit!
Mike looked at the mare his eyes changed somehow he looked at it with love.. He patted its head running his hand through its mane. The horses lifted its heap up out of the hay and looked at him pushing its large nose into his abs then whinnying.
(Sorry Brooke.. Thats real crap but I dunno how to make an exciting post about a boy waiting for his riding lesson to start.. So I added some magic haha lol)

Rayne came walking up slowly. She knew she was a little late but she had to wait for Lexi to get back from shopping before she could use the car. She walked towards Mike with a preocupied look on her face. She probably wasn't going to be a very good teacher today. She just had so much to think about. A smile did flicker across her face when she saw that Mike and the horse where getting along though. Hows it going? She called to him.

Mike turned his head away from the mare who was now contently grazing its hay to turn and smile at Rayne.
"Hey" he called out to her trying to figure out what to say next "We broke a jump" he said pointing the the jump a few feet away from him and the horse
Mikes kiddish grin usually was a snap with the girls, though lately it caused him more trouble than he needed. So today he kept that little grin boxed inside his heart..

She looked over at the jump and just nodded. So where should we start? She asked him, not sure in any way what she was supposed to do really. She didn't really think she was going to make a very good riding teacher and right now she was so preoccupied she couldn't even concentrate.

Mike could stay in the saddle.. That was good enough for a trail ride Right?.
"Well I can kinda ride so mayb' for a ride on the trial?" he asked her looking at her smiling softly.
For a guy who stood in the top 5 guys for cheering broken hearted girls up.. Mike was loosing this time + for the first time he actually liked the girl not what was inside her pants.

Rayne nodded. Maybe a trail ride would calm her busy mind. She knew she was supposed to be teaching Mike to ride but right nw she just could concentrate on teaching only on what had recently happened. Sure, who should I ride? She asked him.

Um I dont know the horses. We'll ask Ally?!" he said taking the horses reins and walking it beside Rayne "Okay?" he asked..

As Mike mentioned Ally's name Rayne's face became alarmed. Can't we ask someone else? She asked him desperately not wanting to see the little girl because it would just make her think about something she really didn't want to think about.

Mike looked at her with a raised brow but decided not to ask.. given her history with Zach.
"Umm Sure.. I think Lillys working in the stables" he told her. Then started walking ahead and waiting for her to catch up..

Rayne walked after him chewing her lip as she walked. She knew she was acting weird and she should explain she just didn't know how.

Lilly watched them walk up.. She smiled glad to be stopping shoveling horse manure for a while. "How'd ya ride go?"she asked..
Mike smiled "Oh good" he said "Um.. Where going out for a trail ride.. Just wonderin' what horse should Rayne take out?" he said.
Lilly smiled at Rayne "Well any one that hasn't been signed to have been ridden today.. And when your out can you try and work them a little.. Less work oh and sign to say how long you ridden on the board outside their stall.. Please" Lilly said smiling softly.

Rayne nodded. Thanks Lil. She said before going to find a horse. She found a chestnut mare that seemed calm and needed riding and started tacking her up quickly. She was soon done and went to meet Mike.

Mike smiled at her "Lets go" and mounted the horse using the railing of the fence to help him up. Once he sat on the horse he patted it and smiled "Come on Moon" he said and gently kicked the horse into a Walk and slowed it until Rayne caught up!
